My friend you are on crack lol... I love my key FOBs. To me they feel solid and robust vs the all plastic ones the industry resorted to shortly after 2010. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they stopped issuing these FOBs after 2011. I'm pretty sure even the top of the line Range Rover models don't have these beefy FOBs anymore.

Some people don't like how big and heavy they are but they're really not that big and you get used to the weight. Also, the toughness of these FOBs seem to fit the image of the brand.
