Appears my RRS too has experienced this issue. Same tell tale hissing noise when accelerating and has been diagnosed by LR as faulty cross pipe and faulty manifold gasket. The parts are being replaced and body needs to be separated to do so. They've had the car for about a week, should be back tomorrow fingers crossed.

Just stumbled on this thread and my 2011 RRS has te exact problem described in the tech bulletin. Private garage that I know has quoted £1200 to replace the manifold. Would I have any joy approaching LR since it was a known issue? |

Is your RRS a TDV8?

Mine is a 2011 TDV6, the symptoms sound exactly as described and this is what the garage believe it to be too.
