Wheel bearing causing gear box fault

Hi All
Has anyone heard off the front wheel bearing causing a gearbox fault message my local Indy suspects it's throwing out the speed sensors ?
Any thoughts?

If there's play in the bearing then it could prevent the speed sensor from reading properly.

Would of thought you'd get abs faults than gearbox if a sensor was going down.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
2009 TDCi 90 current
2018 Discovery 5 HSE lux current
1994 Dakar current

What fault exactly ?

If the front tyre's are different makes, then the gearbox can cause problems, specifically refusung to change up to 6th, except in "command shift" mode. (Caused by different rolling diameters of the tyre's).

I also agree with that.

The zf6hp26 has speed sensors in it so i cant see that the wheel bearing would have anything to do with it.

What codes you got when its read
