For some time there have been a growing number of posts regarding a ticking/creaking noise from B pillar on DS models. At first this was thought to be an early model problem but it's still affecting recent models and I've heard some D4 models too

I would of thought this aftermarket 'surgery' would affect the cars integrity and safety, surely it won't be as safe as an untouched factory fresh model 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant

I'm not an Engineer but breaking seams on B pillar must allow water ingress, invite corrosion and weaken structural integrity - they should take a leaf from Samsung and give refunds to anyone with this issue Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Not sure if you guys might have missed this but a number of RRS'S have had this problem, my personal car hadn't done a 1000 miles when I couldn't stand it no more. LR technical advised a fix and lo and behold it's not there anymore and I'm now on 4000 miles.
