57 plate (08MY) L320 - Cam belt + oil pump??

Thinking of buying a 57 plate (08 MY) 2.7 RRS. I know it needs the cam belt changing but do I need to get the oil pump done at the same time with this model? Ideas of cost and time involved?

Should be £650 for the lot from Indy or £1000 if you fancy lining your dealers pockets.

So been quoted :

Quote 1 - £568 inc VAT for front and rear belts and £636 inc VAT for oil pump.
Quote 2 - £440 inc VAT for front and £787 in VAT for oil pump.

So not looking cheap at the moment and has me possibly considering a 4.2SC.. Laughing

Ouch Big Cry

If the car is getting timing belts anyway, it's only an extra hours work to replace the oil pump at the same time...

They are very expensive quotes

Anyway of confirming if the oil pump has been changed in the past. Visual differences between old and new?
