Yes. So I now have a working clock but intermittently no special programmes, no ABS, no stability control and no HDC. Took two days after collecting the car for it to raise its head. Apparently it's not a problem to keep driving it until they find a fix because it's only a momentary blip - not too sure how I feel about that! |

Mine is booked in for its first service on Thursday and the slow clock fix is on the to do list, I'll cancel it off. Loosing a few minutes a month is no big deal as I don't work my time is my own.

Jumped into my wife's 2 year old SQ 5 yestereday, this is a car 60% cheaper than the RRS. Clock adjust time for daylight saving automatically from the GPS, now this would be something that the Indian's could learn "the use of technology". M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

In 2001 my Freelander1 could adjust the clock automatically and not just for DST but also when continent straddling and crossing time zones BUT it did cost me around £1200 for the optional Philips Carin navigation system to have an automatic clock adjuster. It isn't something new to LR, they are just too lazy/ mean to add the software. What amazes me is that even if they didn't get a time feed from the in car GPS system they could get it from your mobile phone over BT or using the RDS in the car radio. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It sort of bothers me that RR don't seem to want to use available technology in their vehicles in the simplest areas . Does this also mean it is missing in the important areas? I have a Garmin watch which cost $400 dollars and has auto time, every airport in the world , changes time based on location and DST and does heaps more , the cost of this sort of tech in a car radio would be nothing , same a TPS , and a host of other things left out that is in cheaper vehicles. RR is selling the product based on people wanting the badge , gone is the day when paying more meant better more substantive , it now going like clothing , the pricey brands comes from the same sweat shops as the cheap stuff. But the downlighters in the wing mirrors project a Land Rover on the ground. That is ... something. Oh and you can fold/unfold the seats on Discovery 5 using your phone What more technology could you possibly need Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
