Good afternoon all. Been having a little look around the sport today , sorting a few little niggles. When I press the nav button I get the message "no nav available" and no DVDs want to play. The DVD player (alpine) is selecting DVDs but they are not registering. I did a quick self diagnosis and got the code b100e25 TV/RSE video input failure . The tv works fine on all 3 screens . I have removed the panel in the boot and checked all connections , everything seems ok . I unplugged a fibre optic cable from the top of a unit with 2 feeds, and there was only 1 source of light . Any ideas would be very welcome !!!!! |

The Nav DVD is under the passenger seat.

Thanks John . The first thing I did was check the disc in the nav player under passenger seat . The disc is labelled 2014-2015 . I have also got a disc from a friend who has just sold his 2007 vogue ffrr . His disc is just labelled Europe . Could the issue be the unit in the rear to the top left of the 6 dvd changer ? I have also put DVDs in the player , and can see and hear the player selecting discs in turn but they are not registering . |

Thanks Guy . I'm not too overly bothered About the sat nav (have iPhone!!) or dvds as I rarely have anyone sat in the rear , but I'm working through a few little niggles. Would anyone have any thoughts about the failure Of a module ? I'd like to rectify it just so everything works as should . |

Thank you very much Guy - that's given me the answer I was looking for with an explanation of the fault code and possible reason . Would you know where the green connector would be located ? Think this is my 1st point of call !!

Thanks guy . If I tell you the issues I had from beginning it might help . When I got my sport the nav screen came up with no nav available when I pressed the hard key . I left it at that , then thought I'd load the DVD player up in the boot . I put 6 DVDs in (all originals) , when I started the car I could hear the DVDs player selecting discs one by one but they never played. Again I left it at that . Last week a friend part exed his vogue so I got the nav disc off him , thinking the one in my player may be out of date or faulty. I swopped his disc with mine in the nav player under the passenger seat .......same message nav not available. I then did the self diagnostic using the dealers 3 digit pin to access the menu , that's how I came across the code B100E25 TV/RSE VIDEO INPUT FAILURE . That's the last I did , but I'm willing (and greatful ) for any info that could resolve it . If this fabled green connector is behind the screen I'm guessing there will be away to get to it ?

Using a vogue disc isn't a good idea.

Andy is correct, the discs and downloads also have different part numbers, best stick with a known working RRS map disc, can always update once problems sorted. Put a disc cleaner through the DVD player, could be something as simple as muck, or lazer gone. John

Thanks Andy and johnski . I just wanted to rule it out , I removed the vogue disc and replaced with my original. Has anyone ever removed their touch screen unit ? Thinking I'll have a look behind and make sure all connections are OK tomorrow |
