Thinkware F750 to F770

As I believe few here have a Thinkware F750 dash cam, this might be useful.

You can easily upgrade your F750 to a F770.
The internal hardware is the same. This is the procedure:

- Format the SD card
- Download the latest F770 firmware
- Extract the zip file
- Copy the extracted file to the SD card
- Rename the file F770-pkg.bin to F750-pkg.bin
- Insert the SD card and switch on the camera
- update takes about 10-15 minutes (you get an aural message on start and when ended)
DO NOT TURN OFF THE CAMERA DURING THE UPDATE.

Done, now you have a F770, except for the slick exterior.

Future firmware updates you do not rename the files, the camera now think is a F770 '08 RRS TDV8

For what I understand:

- The speed can now be displayed on the actual videos instead of having to use the program to see it
- Super night vision mode which increases the light in parking mode
- Time lapse parking mode
- Better speed camera support
- Probably more future updates '08 RRS TDV8
