I am trying to connect a 12 volt TV aerial and have the following instructions (as not sure exactly what is meant by the 12 volt and 5V power feed)
I have added the instructions as a picture

I also require some info on the whereabouts of the feeds I can take such connections from i.e. probably one of the rear panel areas?


On as similar note the brass/gold connector visible in the picture is small compared to the aerial input connector on my TV. I need a connector from this SMA connector (I believe that is what its called) to a normal sized TV aerial connection (is the only way I can describe it)  RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi . I'm not saying for for certain but some dab radios/TVs can provide a 5v output to power an amplifier. I installed an aftermarket dab radio in a van last year , and when it came to connecting the windscreen mounted aerial I had a choice in the radio settings to turn off or on the 5v output to power the amplifier . I would probably wire up as normal , but prior to that check on the tv settings for any options to turn off or disable the 5v output for a powered amplifier . Hope this helps
