This interior is sublime .....JLR need to take serious note

Now this is what a beautifully put together and well thought out interior looks like

&feature=youtu.be

Look at 5.54 and then I think of the bloody mess my RRS rear seats are .....

After nearly 30 years of brand loyalty ...... I think it is time for a change !!

the electronics part is really nice. i'm only in a 06 RRS so my electronics are a long way behind. But it's a Porsche, and a 4 door one at that. 2019 RRS P400e Autobiography

Trouble is Pakolainen .... it's 2107 MY now and the electronics haven't come a long way since 06 !!!

Rowdie ....Maybe I won't be able to bring myself to buy a Panamera but it's shame i'm even thinking about it ....
I also won't know for sure till i've spent a weekend driving one

JLR really gotta pull their finger out ...

I will be watching like a hawk for the release of the 2018 Cayenne though !! 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Hi andman,

Same here, really like the new Porsche interior and quality, but I would miss the 'above it all' feeling of my RRS ... SDV8 AB Dynamic Mariana Black

The quality of Porsche interiors (and the rest of the car come to think of it) is very good, my Cayenne GTS feels much better than the RRS I test drove before finally pulling the trigger, and when you consider they are essentially the same price point that is shocking.

The new Panamera is lovely. I am in talks with my dealer to buy one but can't get a build slot earlier than Q4 next year!

Never mind the car , Porsche dealers know how to treat their customers probably, I used to feel like royalty in Porsche Exeter. Even though the same group own the landrover dealer as well, it was like chalk and cheese.
It must be a condition of the franchise to lose the idiots and go for 10 out of 10 on manners .

@Fletcher - if you are anywhere near Park Royal I suggest you give James and the boys there a chance - they really look after you Thumbs Up

EDIT: Just seen that you are down in Devon - unfortunately too far from London.

Sorry to take this Off Topic but have to add my 2p about LPR
RRSman, I couldn't agree more, LPR is one of the best and I have bought 4 cars from James's team. When the team moved up to Hadley Green I moved too, I now have a problem because Jeremy Jackson stayed at Hadley Green when they became Grange Garage and James and Matthew moved back to LPR. Jeremy got me my current car but I still great treatment from James and Matt and always get a great welcome when I am in town and drop into both dealerships. I live in Scotland so just as much hike as Fletcher! My local dealership in Stirling have always been great for servicing my cars but I stopped using them for buying when I was looking for a white TDV8 and one salesman told me I wouldn't like a white Sport (after I had seen several Chawton White ones and was looking at Alaska White in 2007). Have not bought another car from them since. My TDv8 was supplied by James's team at LPR through member Kam100 who was running a car brokerage at the time. I Have had no bad or even mediocre servicing or sales treatment from LPR or Grange.

Hijack over! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I never liked Porsche till I watched that video - nice! I agree the outside is still a bit ugly duckling though.

Some folks I know have a newish Bentley, and the interior on that is awesome as well. I think that is where I may be heading next. Maybe in 12 months or so. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Spiffing wheel centre caps available

Not forgiving JLR in any way, BUT, Porsche wouldn't put a video out of their product until the car had been checked over with a fine tooth to make sure all was perfect... 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
TDV8 HST Stornaway on a 08.. remapped.. now gone and replaced, was a mighty fine car..

Hi Neighbour .... didn't think there were too many of us on here ... lol

I agree with you... i've bought countless FF's and a few sports and maybe i'd miss that above it all feeling but

I know for the firs time in a long time i'm exploring my options and a RR isn't a given by a long shot ...

I'll maybe have a look at the Bentayga as well ... but not sure I see the value in it 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's
