Retailer still refused to accept my car as a reject as they couldn't hear the noise.

After a road test with them, it's been heard.

Apparently...... It's a feature within my car called caller assist. It allows noises to be amplified through the vehicle via the microphone so people in the back can also speak ( I have wondered how my little girl could use the phone system perfectly in the back).
The retailer wasn't aware that this option exsisted.

Let's hope the retailer isn't pulling the wool over my eyes, car due back today.

Hey Feelingfoxy, I'm down your neck of the woods also. Do you want to name the Dealership or keep it to yourself?? It would be nice to compare the limited amount of Dealers in Wales with each other to see who gives the best service.

If your unsure you can always take your car to another dealership for a second opinion. I still feel the supplying dealer is wrong in refusing the car as a reject on such a large repair and follow on noise .
It's not a point of law to shrug your shoulders and just say sorry we don't except your claim .

It's called Conversation Assist and as far as I know is only on vehicles fitted with 1700W sound systems. I have it on my L404 but not my L494 which has the 825W system.

Hi foxy. The conversation assist known as CA is only available on the autobiography or a lower model with the 1700 watt meridian sound system with 23 speakers . If you can let us know what car you have or even what maridian system you have .
No offense intended asking if you were female, l just hate the thought of you being fobbed of by a sales man .
If I'm right in thinking the barstools are fobbing you off is there a big strong man that can accompany you to the dealer or do I need to get my boots on .
