(Solved) Something odd today...TPMS

Amber Triangle with low left front there message came on today with its accomplaing TPMS light. So, I find a gas station, fill up the tire to 38psi and expect to see the warning go away. Nope. So I get into the owners manual and it walks me through all the fault options, too include a hard fault of the sensor. I didn't have any of the hard fault indications, but I can't get the light to go out. Yes, it's inflated properly Thumbs Up

Thoughts? '12 RRS SC

I had similar problem after getting new tyre fitted following puncture. I had to drive around 10 miles and speed over 30 mph before the sensor reset itself. Been fine since then.

I have found that sometimes you have to over inflate the tyre and then reduce the pressure to the correct psi to reset the sensor.

Genius! The automatic filler I was using cuts off at 38 psi, so I set it to 40 and the light went out. Aired down to 38, and the light stayed out. Who would have guess and why they didn't included that advise in the owner's manual?

Thanks much Bow down '12 RRS SC
