Thanks for the tip... I did another car wow quote and much the same, although one came back with a 1.6% discount..
The LR website shows the full tft dash whereby you can have the nav showing akin to Audi's. I read the other thread on it but does anyone know if this will actually be the case?

Remote park heat can work off the phone or the remote and you can even set it up from in the car if you wanted it to come on daily in the uk I don't think even in winter I don't use main daily only when it's really cold.

It burns fuel though so unless you open the garage door you wouldn't want to use it.

It doesn't start the car although someone mentioned on this forum the MY17 will start from the app making the feature useless but until proven I'm unsure of that.

I tried car wow and was offered no discount on svr I actually ordered a 16.5 and it's due at the dealers in around 3 weeks they were happy to order me a MY17 and said they can sell the svr all day long so didn't offer any discount on it as ordering a MY17 is thousands cheaper which they agree but wouldn't price match the 16.5 to MY17 prices. Sounds crazy but shows they are not worried about selling it.

Traffic sign / blind spot monitor are standard on MY17 I believe.

I have reployable steps at the moment they are a crazy amount of money for what they are but they are a toy and hide away so will have them fitted to the svr to by the dealer as I don't think they are easy to fit and setup yourself.

My17 order wise and maybe we can help each other here....

My dealers words are that my order is in a holding pool of MY17 orders but Landrover have not yet release allocation to dealers of build slots so there is no build sheet or order number from the factory and no actual build / delivery date.

I'm told December / January for delivery and ordered the MY17 with the dealer 30th August. Others on here have none svr estimates of early December but I'm sure it's all estimates as no built sheet means no order with Land Rover effectively.

Do you have a build sheet or is it just a salesmans guess at the date ?

I hope so the jag has it but I can only guess. We will not know fully until a car is seen in the flesh by the press landrover site suggests it has it from the single pic so if it does it will be nice as might give more flexibility to what you can display all the time.

I guess I'm in a similar scenario in terms of what the dealer has advised me except they did tell me they had been allocated 5 RRS slots for similar build times and that would be their quota until March 2017? I don't have chassis/build number just an order form with 15/12/16 as the estimated delivery date, order placed 22/08. They did say it's showing as spec amendable until the end of this month so I said I'd confirm any alterations by this weekend, early next week.

Wouldn't it be nice if Landrover were holding back on the basis of a big reveal at the Paris motor show of the facelift incorporating the engine upgrade and all existing orders placed updated accordingly! Ha ha, wishful thinking I hear you say!! Sure we can help each other along the way as timescales should be pretty much the same, I did email today asking if I a confirmed build date, awaiting reply...

Probably a touch far as I'm south Lincs and car ordered from Peterborough. I'm sure there is a reputable detailer there so will just have to find them!
Cheers

I placed my order for a MY17 early August and was advised delivery should be some time late Oct, early Nov. A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted and given a specific date of 16th Dec.
We will see. With all my previous dealings with JLR, I am not banking on that date being correct

Well I don't have any previous Land Rover purchases but judging by the comments I won't hold my breath for December!! I wonder if anyone has a MY17 actual build slot/number confirmed?

Hi EVO1

That's very interesting, so definitely a MY17 with the in control upgrade etc? Out of curiosity what doesn the carbon edition bring, apart from the obvious!! What is the price difference compared to the regular model and can you post your build sheet (with of course any sensitive info removed), you'll be the first albeit not in the U.K. Sounds great and possibly one of the first MY17, enjoy!

Hi, I priced some carbon bits off Land Rover after purchasing my new SVR. I already had the Carbon Fibre Interior and engine cover and after serious consideration thought I'd go a bit further. Land Rover prices were absolutely ridiculous and then I found a supplier who also supplied a little touch that LR didn't do. I had Bonnet Vents, Side Vents ( which LR didn't offer ),mirror caps, front grille and rear boot lid strip.
These are Carbon Fibre covers and not dipped. They money I saved was incredible and when they were fitting I noted that parts had LR part numbers on them for much much less price than LR. LR's mark up is crazy Shocked Shocked
I'm really pleased I went with it now as it's real subtle and in my opinion looks real good.

Yes, it is a MY17 with the upgrade in control.

It was originally scheduled delivery between December and January, the dealer get 2 Carbon Edition in allocation, the mine in mid-November and the next mid-January.

The carbon edition adds the external carbon bonnet grilles, mirror caps Carbon, Carbon Fibre Tailgate Trim and equipment normally preconfigured option on the car. (Panoramic sliding roof, 22 wheels in black, Carbon Fibre veneer, Carbon fiber engine cover, head-up display, connect pro Pack, Pack 2 major axis, Privacy glass with infrared reflective windscreen)

The public retail price is € 144,900 tax included (it is 18% discount on optionnal equipment) + dealers discount Wink .

I took more (surround camera - soft closing door - Heated leather steering wheel with Carbon Fiber - Adaptive Xenon Headlamps With LED Signature with Automatic High Beam Assist - Fridge in center consol - Twin blade sunvisor)

I had some carbon bits ( bonnet vents, fins and tailgate spoiler) on my GTR, finished it off nicely without being too much, in my opinion anyway! Knightracer supplied it I think, where are your bits from?

Wow EVO1, that is some spec and carbon editions, be interesting to see where the other other 38 are going, clearly not the U.K!! So come on, dealer discount was???????
