Hi Martin,

Some of us are interested in having a separate section to discuss other car brands. It would be valuable for members to hear experiences of those who have moved away from RRS ownership and members can benefit from real life comparisons and evaluations. It would be easier and more useful than visiting multiple different forums because the information would be in one place and source would be people in similar circumstances.

On BabyRR we have one of these sections as a sub section of the Off Topic area and it doesn't get used very often......... We do have an "off Topic" section that can be used here though. I too enjoy reading member's experiences when they move to other marques and am now considering my options for 2 years time when I retire and con no longer afford the high PCP interest rates that LR Finance are charging these days compared to most other manufacturers. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'd like to see an alternatives thread/section too. Nothing wrong with comparing LR's output with the competition. Many of us consider changes and alternatives on a regular basis - especially on the days when our RRS is playing the fool...  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I would be interested in an "Alternative Brand" Section as a topic on its own or as a subset of the Off Topic Folder.
