Nice. What did rangers have to say? Surely it's legal access? Visitor from fullfatrr.com

It's an off-road holiday run by uklandroverevents this is our 6th time though we tend to go every 2 years. Basically meet up in Dover fall lowed by 2 days travelling to Andorra, 2 days off road, 1 day rest, 2 days off road then 2 days drive back. The Rangers where basically trying it on. Park of yesterday s ruin was within a national park and they where saying we needed a permit even though we where on public roads. We've since checked up and they had no reason to stop us. Like in the UK if you go off the track/lane then your in trouble, but stay on the lane then there's nothing they can do and we have video footage showing we did just that.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

What sort of accommodation is used on these trips? Take your own tent/ caravan or B&B/Hotels? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Chalet on a campsite in the middle of encamp in Andorra there is also a bar and swimming pool. Basic but still better than a tent ! 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Thanks Camel, the lady friend has been lurking on the forum after I mentioned your trip - she used to go skiing there before she had a rather horrendous motorbike accident (a big Harley but she was pillion when they got hit by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel......) and wants to go back. We've been trail driving in Scotland and she loves that although climbing in and out of the Defender can be heavy going for her legs so we were thinking of L494 with it's air con and hotels if we went. We have the NC500 (North Coast 500 around the north of Scotland) to conquer nest spring once the B&B's and hotels open for the season, then the choice is Iceland with the Defender as not air con will be needed or Andorra or Spain in the RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi Tim, just has a heads up, if your thinking of going on one of these organised trips then you need to book early. We've already booked for 2018 as we like to give it a 2 year gap and also 2017 is already fully booked. Good luck with the Iceland trip. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
