Bizarrely, I find this a real irritation. The keys are uncomfortable in a jeans pocket and messy if dumped in the central cupholders. First world problem, but I'd quite like a nice slot to put them in.

I'm thinking of getting a cup hook and screwing up into the dashboard.

Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

My fob is either in my trouser pocket, as they are large it's perfect for the RRS fob. The other place I keep it, when my normal trousers are at dry cleaners, is in one of my jacket pockets, the jacket is normally hanging on rear hook to prevent creases.
I don't see the need to have somewhere to put it in car as not required for anything when driving, starting/stopping, tailgate opening/closing, or window closing from outside, so why bother? More chance of cloaning if you forget to remove?
My wife also has a fob in her handbag, and in the house they are kept in a metal container inside a drawer or other place, away from doors/Windows. John

So are we talking about the poor down and outs like myself Big Cry Big Cry with a 2011 Sport and the house brick fob, or the more affluent Sport owners with the newer smaller fob Question In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
