Logic 7 different to Harmon kardon ???

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this, so sorry if this has been asked before.
I couldn't find the answer on here.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Harmon
Kardon and Harmon kardon logic 7, if there is one ???

It's a very good question.

All I know is that the logic 7 was fitted to the supercharged models.
They appear to have additional speakers in the rear roof.
And a speaker in the centre dash under the grill ?

Not sure what half of this means,

Harmon kardon.
11 Speakers
Passive Sub woofer
Audio Amp 380w

Logic 7.
Surround System
17 Speakers
Active Sub Woofer
DSP Amp 825w
USB Connectivity

I think the CD player maybe different a single play as opposed to multi Disc not sure on that one.

Cheers

I guess it depends on whether you are talking about the Mark 1 or Mark 2 etc

I'm talking about a RRS 1, not even sure if the RRS2 had the H/K system thought it was Meridian or something like that.

Cheers

Premium Audio - HK Logic 7

My 2010 TDV8 has the premium audio system with HK Logic 7.

It only has a single CD player in the dash but no facility to upload discs to memory. It also has IPOD and USB connectivity under centre console lid. I have the rear seat entertainment system as well with the 6 disc DVD stacker in the back unfortunately the stacker cannot be used to play audio discs.

Like most modern premium audio systems in cars it is better than the factory fit standard of yesteryear but compares woefully with the aftermarket hi level systems that you used to be able to install in cars when they had DIN or double DIN dash headunit slots.

Trying to find a car which will play CD's now is getting hard. Soon we will be reduced totally to listening to compressed music files with no real sound quality.

If your mapping is via Hard Drive, then you can upload a certain number of CDs (6 or 10 depending on model) to the HD for recall and play. The CD player is also a DVD player, which will also show films etc from the 2011 model.
It is a slow process to record but it is fitted to the Single Play CD player with HD mapping. (Also updateable each year by yourself).

The MK2 audio system is indeed made by Meridian, again available with several different number of speaker packages: (except some 2013 models which still had one of the 4 different Harmon Kardon systems carried over.)
Designed and engineered for optimum performance, the All-New Range Rover Sport combines exceptional versatility with supreme handling and comfort.
Our engineers have created a choice of two unique Meridian systems to complement this flawless interior.
A world first for in-car audio, the Meridian Signature Reference System incorporates Meridian Trifield 3D surround technology.
Delivering an exhilarating personal audio experience throughout, prepare for music in all its dimensions. Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up John

Sorry, I always think of the facelift as 2011 when of course there was some facelifts in 2010, thanks for correction.
Same as in 2013 both MK1 and MK2 were available at the same time.[/quote] John
