My dashboard has gone dark, cannot read speedo, rev counter at night. Is this a simple bulb replacement, if so how do I get to it. Hoping this is not an expensive trip for an item costing pennies.  past personal chariots

this reminds me of a 'phone conversation I had with my sister about her Volvo- "help my dashboard doesn't light up anymore"

The switch paddy is telling you about is the rheostat that I ment, since tried that already then it's not the problem obviously but it was worth a try 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

All except the message centre. Keeping my fingers crossed for a simple solution. Learned one thing, the dimmer switch is a rheostat. Probably should have worked that one out, I put it down to an age thing.  past personal chariots

Hi I have the same problem. Struggle to see speedo & rev,temp,fuel at nite. All the dash is lit up but needles are very faint. Any help would be appreciated.
