You don't mention whether it is the 4.4 NA V8 or 4.2 Supercharged V8.

I have a 2005 Supercharged - does about 17mpg but I tend to be light on the gas. I expect if I drove in traffic, 13mpg would be probably about right. 21mpg on long motorway runs, again driving in a fuel efficient way. By comparison my M4 does about 23/24mpg but I probably drive it a little harder. I used to have a TDV8 a few years ago - can't recall what that was but think it was more like 25mpg. Rationale for buying a Supercharged (apart from all the obvious) was that they were much cheaper than the diesel together with relatively low mileage. 2005 RRS First Edition Supercharged

Yeah we did get the 4.4, certainly on the early models.

I have run a 4.2 Sc First edition for a year, great car, awesome performance, just wish i could unlock a little more noise from that brilliant great lump up front....Oh i do mainly town/local driving and never ever see 13mpg and i by no means drive like a knob head... |

It honestly depends how you drive it. Around town I average 15mpg, cruising at 80mph I average 22mpg.
