ARB/Bottom Arm Bush replacement

Hi there!

I'm new to the RRS gang, but have just purchased a '58 RRS 2.7TDv6 HSE.

The car has developed a squeak, and I have been told that the ARB bushes and the Bottom Arm rear bushes need to be replaced to solve the problem.

What sort of figure would you expect to be paying for this?

I have been looking at the ARB bushes, how do i know if my car has ACE or not, as they appear to be two different types? Having looking through the write up by ridgeback_moor i'm sure i could do the ARB bushes myself

Sorry for all the questions!

Many Thanks

Dynamic response or ACE as you call it is standard on TDV8 an d S/C not on the TDV6 though pos as an optional extra, look under the bonnet and see if there is a res near the radiator othrt than the PAS res.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome Camelrock.

Just a look, touch in hand, there is indeed a res, so assuming it has the ACE (Dynamic Response) - from reading on here, I am correct in thinking the ACE is the old terminology for DR?

Many Thanks

Yes ACE was on D2's the other way to check is to look under the o/s you will see a valve block fastened to the outer chassis rail with pipes going for and aft. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
