Still going strong BKHK , we have moved to a new house near Cambridge so my days of commuting up and down the A1 between London and Yorkshire are somewhat over (just family visits now), but it's still a great place for the 20 mile journey on the back lanes to/from the station each morning/evening. With 25k on the clock it's now run in nicely and is showing just shy of 40mpg, despite me driving like a tool with a lead right foot.

That said, I'm currently thinking I may chop it in next year and go completely left field with a Ranger/Navara/Hilux type thing as we have the Merc as a family car which is very nice and seats all the kids, but don't want to be loading it (or the BM for that matter) with hay/feed bags etc. Would love a defender 130, but they're like hens teeth and prices seem to be rising now too.
Also, shy of an \\\M or AMGx63 car I really don't know what I'd replace it with....

Still check in on here from time to time and I'm sure one day we'll have another RRS or FFRR on the driveway....once I've managed to make the kids self sufficient  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

good luck on that one.. In terms of outlay BC on the kids, just
remember to move the decimal point one place to the right every 4 or 5 years they are a life long
