Too true. It is like a temporary block and tackle apparatus, to help you haul the spare out of the well.

Easier on the L320 when they are underneath car, suspension up to "off road+", lower wheel and out. John

No idea, I haven't got one, lol. Apparently my 20" wheels are not heavy enough to warrant one. All I have is the theory...............and a bad back. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
