That's why I didn't go for a DS muddy,I wouldn't have been 100% happy even though they look nice & are nice to drive, they are just not in the same league as a RRS.Go for it you know you want to.

I should be happy with the DS but I get bored easy and having had 2 RRS I'm feeling it already - funny enough I didn't get bored with the RRSs but had to change the first due to dealer caused problems and the second for Swmbos dream house |

Well after a bit of research I've discovered the RRS hybrid has a range of 1 mile |

I had a brief drive in the PHEV last year. Pretty good I thought. I tried the BMW i3 too. That was very nice. Need to get one on a long test drive but I could see one as a work car. Would want one with the extender option though. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Muddy how about a used Tesla? Now I have a roof covered in solar panels and the local council gives you free parking and charging for EV (but not PHEVs) in my local town I reckon I could drive one for the cost of the depreciation and no need to pay for "fuel". I accept that the electricity has to be generated by nuclear or gas but where I live most is made from farts (wind turbines)/ rotting fruit and vegs, hydro power and tidal generators as well as the sun. I think a used Tesla P90D with ludicrous mode and AWD would be great fun and make you feel smug too! |

I've looked at Tesla and they're pretty impressive but pricey - I prefer an SUV and something built in UK but at the end of the day I'm going to have to compromise something |

IIRC I keep reading Tesla as a company are a bit wobbly, but the car is untouchable with acceleration |

Warning for all owners of Hybrid or electric cars. The U.K. Motorway network of free charging has now come to a halt and the charge is set at £5.00 for 20mins charge (some set at 15mins) which evidently for most will give up to a maximum 15 mile range. There was an outcry about this and they gave an extra 5 minutes up to the 20' stated. It makes it very expensive to charge your car on the move now, unless at your own home. Credit card/debit card payment at machine.

I drove a friend's 2015 hybrid today and he drove my V8 SC. He is ordering a new 5l V8 after driving mine and I was glad to get back into mine. They just don't have the same power. |

I'd agree...I think the 5.0 V8 is a different beast altogether. I wouldn't compare it in any way to the SDV6 or SDv6 Hybrid... 2017 Range Rover Sport 3.0 SDV6 Hybrid (354) Autobiography Dynamic - Farallon/Black Oxford
