Professional SVR shots

Friend of a friend is producing a book called 'Cars of Bradford' and wanted some nice cars to photo in front of famous land marks. I volunteered the SVR and we did some shots in Shipley / Saltaire the other night. I think they look fantastic - he shot the car several times for each location, moving the lighting rig around to try and bring out the colour in challenging light conditions (about 7:30pm so very low sun). He's already produced a Cars of Iceland and Cars of Cuba book, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product Smile

And here's a bonus photo of it in front of the Lancaster Just Jane, taken a few months ago (iPhone pic though!)

I'm annoyed that I had the car valeted and forgot to remove the light stickers from our recent French holiday!

Great looking car Thumbs Up

You didn't need those stick-on things in the first place. Beam pattern is such that it doesn't require adjustment (except for auto high beam assist which can be configured in the instrument panel menu) whichever side of the road you drive on. This was the case in my 2013 L320 too so even before L494. Unless SVR headlamps are different (which I doubt). Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory
Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond

Nice to have your car included in the book (unless it finds itself into the cutting room floor) Laughing

But my favourite is the Lancaster Bomber photo, the other photos just look like a car parked in Bradford, nothing special in my opinion, there are much nicer backdrops around yorkshire
