Lol the Ferrari is tucked away in her stable (garage) but the other two cars live outside for now. My RRS is white but thinking stealth black Evoque with the black pack for a contrast

I've owned two Evoques before the L494 RRS................ Both were the 2.2 TD's both Dynamic Lux Plus's with most of the options ticked. First was one of the first in private ownership and a Fuji Coupe 6 Speed Auto. It was brilliant. At 2 years old I changed it for a Zanzibar Bronze 5 door Synamic Plus Lux with almost all options ticked - it was a disaster on wheels. Started out with being nearly 9 months late delivery because the In Control that was an option when I ordered wasn't actually developed or available for sale. Then at 9 months into ownership there was a software upgrade to the ZF 9 speed auto and that resulted in a spate of burned out DPF sensors. The car was obviously rushed down the production line in Halewood as the InControl didn't actually work at all when the car was delivered and the wiring along the windscreen header rattled like mad. As the cure for that was removal of the front screen, panoramic roof and headliner I sold the car on way sooner than I would normally. One of the cars was a 2011MY and the other a 2014MY. I would never have another and the new Ingenium engined cars are being panned for course and gutless engines, Disco Sport doesn't seem to suffer from that but it was designed from day 1 to have the Ingenium engine. There are a lot of angry and disappointed 2016MY Evoque owners out there.................. QC at Halewood seems to be very hit and miss and to be perfectly honest, in the the best LR tradition management don't seem to give a sh!t about the finish or value for money of their biggest selling car. I know people who I have never had a single problem with them but there seems to be an awful lot more people who have huge lists of problems that dealers either don't want to fix or are unable to.

We have had both, the Evoque was a 2014 SD4 Dynamic Lux auto. Its like the cars are made by a different company, the RRS is a fantastic car apart from when the security system shut it down, however the Evoque was a total piece of dog poo.

I really liked the Evoque when I saw it - then I drove it and hated it with the bag of spanners that was the 2.2 engine and the boot was as much good as Swmbos mini

Here are a few reminders of Evoque ownership, first tow away from our house, second from the village, which is 12 miles from our home and LRA left us stranded. At the moment I can't access the third tow away photo but you get the idea. Last photo is the courtesy car supplied after being without any transport for 5 days, yes its a '57 plate VW polo! You can see why Evoque ownership has left a bitter taste. For all this trouble LRCS gave us £750 off the RRS, weren't we lucky.
