Morning folks

AM looking at buying a 2nd hand RRS and was thinking of the below

Ive never ever bought a 2nd hand car always new so am completely lost at what to look for, ask etc

Any advice? Looks like the mileage is fairly high on this?

Any thoughts?

That's a lot of RRS for that money - its about £5k cheaper than main dealer prices for that spec & mileage.

I would not dismiss it on mileage alone - if it has been serviced & loved you may be getting a bargain - A WARRANTY IS A MUST - consumable items ( suspension components ) will need replacing sooner rather than later
The alloys on that Sport can be refurbed but will never look the same - check under the rear for the spare wheel - these usually get nicked
Landrover do a warranty that allows a pre inspection by main dealer before it is authorised - this gives a true picture of the condition of the RRS. There is a cost involved no doubt & the top warranty is approx £1075 per annum - if you buy approved used direct from Landrover this comes with the purchase for 2 years.

The money you have saved will soon be eaten into if you bring the purchase level to main dealer services - hope the above makes sense

I might look at buying it from a main dealer then. That 2 year warranty looks good.

Are these AA warrantys no good then?

TBH - thats a good question - labour rates & part prices are high on these motors - if that was the route you decided to take - I would do a comprehensive check on whats covered & the max value of each claim - I've had £2k worth of work done since March - luckily it was covered  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
