England 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Well mine came back on Friday night from the dealership "Sir, we couldn't find any faults" is what they told me on the phone.

I said, are you sure? I was assured that the car was fault free and that I was imagining the peeling lacquer.

I asked the reception girl to go and check if we were talking about the same car, she came back on the line after 5 minutes and said "I can see the issue on the bumper, I have pointed it out to the tech and will be in touch early next week, it looks as if there has been a previous repair..".

At this point I had to laugh, I said, "well, considering I bought the car from you and I wasn't advised of that I suggest that you stop talking now".

Anyway, all the points appear to be remedied (apart from the interior which I will fight another day). 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Loan cars

Lookers, Park Royal, wouldn't even offer me any model of Range Rover as a loaner.

The best offer to date has been a Jag but I turned that down as I hate Jags. Owned MY12 Sport from new!
Previous: Evoque, Freelander 2, Freelander 1, Mercedes CLK (convertible), Porsche 911 (several). E-type.

Update from Dealer today: new diff fitted ( quick or what?) sign off road test by head tech tomorrow morning, should be able to collect it around noon, assuming all is well. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Picked the car up at lunchtime, all seems well. Very nice to be back in the Sport. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

A couple of days in, and I have to say the drive is much improved, the persistent driveline vibration is gone, guess there must have been some runout on the diff input flange or something.

Can't really complain about the speed of repair, either - in late Thursday, collected noon the following Tuesday. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
