I had the obligatory window sticker with 6 month checkup scribbled in permanent marker when i picked it up, and no i do not give it a good ragging, I had 3 subarus to take that out on in a previous era I was curious about the 6 month checkup as i had not seen anything on here alluding to other people getting it done. Maybe its an Aussie requirement due to the "more challenging" driving conditions Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

It is.... my original handbook and service docs were from LR Australia and for some reason, the service intervals are different from ours. They're different in the US too, I think.

I will try and find out why they have the 6 month obligatory check up down under and get back to you all. It does say check-up on the sticker, but pops up with "Service" and the countdown ticking away (not really ticking)

i will take this one back, apparently it is 12K KM's or 6 months whatever is soonest, so that clears that one up. Thought it might be just a post delivery thing, but apparently Sydney City Centre is a far harsher environment than Kensington and Cheshire Did the right thing, off to Melbourne on business for a few days and left it to the wife to drop off and pick up, one recall check and 6 month service later with a "Vehicle Enhancement Programme", it breaks down within 15 minutes of leaving the dealership "Engine System Fault" Wifey not to pleased about having to have the recovery vehicle out, better than me i say. Its back home tonight, and will see what happens tomorrow to see if the "clean and refit temp sensor" as worked or will i get the proverbial "blue screen of death equivalent" tomorrow Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |
