Has anyone found a source of either CD/DVD disc or PDF files of the Service Manual/Workshop Manual for a 2012 Model and Year RRS SDV6 HLE, the model with the 8 speed box? I have contacted all the normal suppliers with no joy, Haynes don't do one and according to their responses they will not be doing one either. Sad. Even Flea Bay sellers cannot help on this. I did pay £40+ to Land Rover to have online access to it for a week, but at over £225 for a year access these are silly prices for the areas wanted, and much won't allow print out.
So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

There are certain sections it will let you view, but not download i.e Body Section which is section 501- something I think. Unless they have changed it since I tried and now let you do it.

Thanks Frax, I have this owners manual as it was supplied with the car, thanks for finding it though, will keep that as a backup. It's either the Workshop or Service manual I'm after, it seems so far no one has one other than as said paying out a lot for LR access to them, which I have done once at £40+ for access.

I hunted for it but that was all I could find and Topix seams to be a one hit wonder for me, it lets me sign up and that is the only time I get in, if I go back it wont let me log in again.

It isn't possible to do that now I'm afraid, and some sections you can't even print.
I think it's rediculas the tight control LR keeps of this information, you can get almost any other car built.  John

I picked up the full 2 volume Defender Workshop manual (a Land Rover workshop original one too, not a Haynes, new and unused) on Amazon, have you tried a search there for a hard copy version? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes Tim thanks, I have. I have found the earlier RRS full manual, but that has the 2.7 engine not the 3.0 SDV6 and doesn't have the eight speed gearbox, and quite a lot of other differences unfortunately even down to cornering lights etc.  John

I have finally sourced the complete service manual, over 9,000 pages, all on a DVD disc, printable and searchable, for the facelift L320 2011-2013 models. It says sold as a backup copy, and gets around Land Rover copy restrictions
It is great and has all the info I was paying a arm and leg for to gain access to LR online. All sections unlocked.
The electrical diagrams and photos are very helpful.  John
