Im fairly confident you have the same issue as me.

Get steering recalibrated and it should fix it.

I checked but my wheels are straight even with my steering wheel slightly to the left (sorry not right) I've had it plugged in again at a Land Rover specialist and I've got rear right abs/ speed sensor..... So I've just picked one up now just trying to figure out how the fit the damn thing before I have to take it to a garage. Anyone have any idea how to fit these?

Problem still not solved, Last week the fault went then 1/2 mile down the road it has re appeared.

I do remember having a wheel bearing replaced about 3 weeks ago and then a week later these faults all came up.

I've also started to have issues locking the car with the fob and the same with unlocking...

Any ideas as I cant get my head around this!

Update:

I had the rear abs/ speed sensor fitted the problem still persists I'm on the verge of giving up with this car, I have now booked it in again at a Land Rover specialist to see if they can shed any light on this situation 😞 Feeling sad now!

Anyone else fixed theirs?

After taking the rear wheel off and having the car in the air now the 4x4 screen shows the wheels turned all the way to the right even though they are straight.....!!! Can't even recalibrate the steering as I have all these faults still

This is a bit of a long shot but I can recall there was a post on Disco 3 site about someone having the steering column sensor unit come adrift from the steering column. IIRC they fixed by aralditing it back on (!).

I was just wondering if a similar problem might cause a spurious readout on the 4x4 screen. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Had the steering recalibrated today so that's sorted but it seems that there may be a break in the wire somewhere to the rear right abs sensor as its not recognising the new sensor (no cumminication) booked in on Tuesday but due to drive to Newcastle on Wednesday its a race against time now to get it fixed haha

After all that headache it resulted in being a broken wire o/s/r from the abs sensor to the chassis harness it fixed all problems while the car was there also had then replace the compressor for the suspension and some new stop tail bulbs but £1500 later I have no warning lights horay!!!

Glad you got it sorted.
It will look good for your car's history so look on the bright side. The steering calibrarion plays a big part from what I've experienced but ultimately I guess everything else must be intact.

Which specialist did you take it to?

Thanks for the update in your progress as a lot of people fail to update and threads are left hanging unsolved.

O.P
Any joy?

I used giggle pin 4x4 in Kent I deffo recommend them, I have a intermittent transmission fault that comes up which disables the hdc but I can just turn the car off then on again and it goes away, they said it's the brake pedal switch which Land Rover are having problems with as I already Changed it so if it comes back I will try the original for a while.

But my problems don't end there..... After a 5hour drive to Newcastle I went to get all our luggage out the boot I pushed the button as usual and went to lift it..... It wouldn't rise it appears to be stuck on the latch I've tried pushing it down and holding the button also tried the override buttons lock/unlock in the car still doesn't work and doesn't make a noise either so maybe a fuse or something hopefully. Nothing has got caught in that area either so I'm puzzled and currently driving with the tailgate open light on my dash.... When will this car give me a break haha
