My sport is 9 months old and tonight I had to manually unlock the door and place the fob next to the steering coloum to start it , tried spare key . Exactly the same , any ideas? Or is it trip to dealer no 3? |

Batteries are critical, must be new and sealed replacement, no moisture by touching battery either.

Batteries are fine . Both fobs not working , used genuine Panasonic batteries , I think it must be the keyless module

Both keys should be with the car when it goes in for service, part of the service is to check they both work and to update if not 100% |

This happened to mine , breakdown man pulled a fuse out in the boot and it worked again. The part that recognises the keys was then replaced under warranty 2008 Factory HST- Sold

It was fine when he unplugged the fuse out but it went in for another problem and I mentioned it and they changed it not sure which fuse or module though sorry 2008 Factory HST- Sold

Silly, that is a "characteristic". MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Old post but had same problem 2 week ago. Pulled keyless locking fuses out x 2, put back in and all ok. Been ok ever since (it has only been 2 week......) |
