It was a good'un and it is improving but apparrantly viewing figures have fallen off a cliff..................... As it is the season for leadership battles I wonder if Chris Evans's job might doubtful. How many people are watching Extra Gear on BBC3? How many people know how to find BBC3..................?? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Much, much improved last two episodes. Chris Harris in particular is very good. Passionate, knowledgeable, loves driving and can drive (unlike any of the previous 3 presenters) and for me most importantly, I love the way he manages to portray his enthusiasm of a great car while belting around a track as he did with the Aston the other week Thumbs Up

On one of the trailers for next week's show I heard "the last in the current series" - seems to have been a very short season of TG or were they previously only 6 week seasons? Season cut short so as not to clash with Grand Tours? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

So just announced on the BBC News app - Chris Evans to stand down from presenting Top Gear. Some very interesting quotes from the TV critics on the BBC News website this morning about CE's shouty behaviour and how if he wasn't there it would be a great program with Matt, Eddie, Rory, Chris Harris and Sabine and that The Stig has outstayed his time and a different format is needed as well as recommending that the BBC should dump guest drivers doing the star in a rally car - it only serves as a book / film hype slot (I agree with that bit!). I wonder if the TV critics new something ahead of the game. Also last nights viewing figures were the lowest ever recorded for an edition of TG................ I see that the viewing figures dropped to 1.8million with last night's episode, OK so they had the Footie to compete with, but even The Antiques Roadshow managed to muster 6.9million viewers last night!

I googled to get the above link but there was a disturbing link to an eNewpaper where some very unpleasant allegations have also been levelled at CE................. http://www.theweek.co.uk/top-gear/65189/to...hris-evans 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Excellent news. The Beeb must have been monitoring the car forums because everyone said the same things - i.e. would be much better without Evans and the Z list celebrities in a dirty mini is rubbish and the stupid contrived 'challenges' are well - just that.

The shows have improved and last nights was pretty good (if you like Porsches).

Another thing that could be improved is the track testing; I'm bored with seeing cars going sideways with smoke pouring off the tyres. We all know that's not the fastest way to go round a corner so what's the point?

While the Beeb is making changes why not get back to putting all the hot chicks at the front instead of the frumpy old boilers. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

At least he has gone for good useless cretin.

The BBC have now stated no decision has been made on making any further episodes, and if they do, who may be presenting them. He lost 62% of the previous audience ratings (including catch up and recordings) with Clarkson and co.
America shelvedrefused Top Gear.
The magazine sales have dropped through the floor, it was BBCs best earning program world wide before getting rid of old crew.
Surely the BBC can't afford to loose that sort of mo eye and prestige program.

Autoexpress news....The ginger haired muppet did resign, but was told any further episodes wouldn't feature him in it. That alters things/story too. John

Before the big break up last year it wasn't just the BBC's top selling program it was the most watched TV series in the world! Although interestingly the BBC have been able to sell this series to something like 40 more countries than they were able to sell the previous series to! Maybe the countries Clarkson had upset on the various Xmas edition shows have relented and decided to allow their nationals to see the programme again now that he isn't presenting the show, which would account for Mexico, India, Chile, Argentina and Burma being back buying it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
