TV screen adjustments?

Is there any way to alter settings of picture when watching digital TV or DVD playback through main unit?
My problem is that the brightness is just far to much and the colours all washed out, similar on the Sat Nav etc.
Most digital TVs I have had in other cars have had full adjustment of Colour/brightness/contrast and tint, it seems very cheap having no adjustments available, just another thing about the supplied system (sat Nav) that is so crap.
On Rover/BMW early units it was a case of opening unit and using internal variable resistors. Smile

Dealer has said it can be done, but not by them, as they have had to have new cars adjusted due to poor quality display, may have to ask for number of the technician they use. Confused
Any ideas? Thanks. John
