Badging on front of SVR grille

Shocked I recently purchased an SVR and have noticed that the Land Rover badge on the black grille has a green background.
If I recall correctly my previous Supercharged RRS had a black badge thus distinguishing that it was a Supercharged model. Does anyone have any thoughts on why Land Rover have done this and wether I should change the badge to a black one but then the originality will be taken away.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The badges seem to change with most model years and we even went over to Range Rover wheel centres for a couple of years. I agree that the black badge would be more suited BUT every Freelander2, Evopque and Discovery seems to also have changed to black badges too............... The green ones have changed a few times over the years too - green with gold letters, green with silver letters, font changes etc. If you really want to be different do what I did for April Fools day a few years back shortly after Tata had taken over and made white oval with Tata in blue script on it and stuck that on the car.................... The diehards on various Land Rover forums went into a tailspin when it was spotted! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Laughing Laughing I bet they did!!
With me though, it's the dilemma of going with originality or putting a black badge on, which, to be honest when offered up to the grille looks proper!!!

Mind you as you said a Tata badge would look sooooo different Rolling with laughter

Just make sure if you do swap the badge, it's not an older one as they are slightly larger, I have black Mariana, with stealth pack, and the majority of the time you can't even notice the green on the badge, so the black ones are still in the glove box...

You would of thought if nothing else they'd of done it with the stealth / blacks regardless, but it seems not.

Same with engine covers aside from SVR - they now all say landrover and not Range Rover apparently.
