Perm dipped beam - possible?

My last car was a Volvo S60R and one thing I liked was that I could leave my lights on dipped beam 24/7. It wasn't DRLs... I left the switch on dipped and they stayed on, except when I turned the engine off and took the key out and then they turned off.

Is there a way of enabling this functionality on my RRS. If I leave the lights on and turn off the ignition, remove the key and lock the car, the lights stay on and I get the "BONG!".

Cheers

You need the "Scandinavian" Setting in your CCF files Activated.

I have this function enabled on my car. I don't know is that part of cold climate package or not but I have it from the first day I bought the car (as used), probably Scandinavian Setting is activated.
Anyway, my dipped beam is on all the time after engine start, except when gear lever is on Park (lights going off) and if park brake is activated (lights also going off).

Hope this can give you a figure how it's working.

Thanks

Can you clarify "all the time" please. Are your lights on even when the light switch is off?

Ah ok, that's a shame. I guess you can't have it all. Was hoping if the light switch was off, they'd be off.
