This is just more curiosity than anything else (the geek in me, of course). I know the RR RSE system comes with a pair of wireless headphones vs the rear audio controls w/ headphone jack in the RRS. However, the system used in the 2 vehicles appears to be the same otherwise. So, I was wondering if the wireless headphones on the RR system work in the RRS system?

Anyone try this?

By the way, I'm not saying I'd prefer wireless vs wired. I know I could probably come up with something aftermarket to do wireless from the jacks in the RRS if I really wanted to. I also know that it's possible that the RRS system's emitter for the headphones may be disabled or not usable if the audio is only routed to the 3.5mm jacks instead.

Again, just curious if anyone has tried it.

There is no wireless transmitter on the RRS version. In the RR, there is no choice... since there are no headphone jacks. They had to make them wireless.

Since the jacks are so close to the rear passengers, why would you care? Better sound quality and no batteries.

I'm with rgbyhkr here. My kids always sem to get the headphone leads tangles up and wireless would be so mch easier. Is there anything that can be done? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
