I am also waiting for the facelift RRS. The latest internet stories seem to suggest a facelift announcement around October 2016 with deliveries in early 2017. The assumption seems to be updated Jaguar sourced infotainment system plus modified front bumper and grille. Possibly JLR may tweak the engine settings to offer better emissions numbers.

I doubt there will be a face-lift until MY18. The FFRR has been out longer than the Sport and that hasn't had a face-lift yet. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

Chris you may be right, but it's hard to believe that the most expensive models in the JLR range won't have the latest tech that is available on the cheapest Jag. Also the spy photos have been appearing since August 2015.

I saw some poorly disguised shots of a "new" RRS on a internet site recently, there was only one interior shot and they had gone back to the rotary dial for gear changes, the video display unit was well covered so gave nothing away, the shape of the car itself looked virtually the same to me, but that doesn't mean a lot. I'm sure they would have been shown on here when spotted, but I'll try and find them again and put up. John

Land Rover follows a 7-year redesign cycle. The Discovery 4 came out in 2010 and as expected, the redesign will be released as MY17 or MY18 models; pics of the test mules are available online. FFRR came out in 2013 and RRS in 2014, so don't expect any major changes for several more years. Minor tweaks can be expected mid-cycle, and I hope the infotainment system will be upgraded. |

I think I'm just going to push the button!!....there will always be an update just around the corner...judging by the issues the 'F Pacer's' are having with JLR's new tech, probably better sticking with something that is tried and tested (if not the best!)...ps, I was VERY to close to buying an FPace but not in the same league as a RRS!..look nice but too much plastic. |

And that's exactly why some of the tech goes in the cheaper models first, call it beta testing.... |

It would appear they are using the FPace to do the alpha testing! |

Been to the Goodwood FoS Moving Motorshow today. Great Landrover pavilion and very helpful LR man who told me that the RRS facelift would be announced Nov 16 for delivery early 2017. Upgrades would be - Jaguar Incontrol Touch Pro infotainment system, modified front bumper and possibly new optional LED lights, but no engine changes.

Definitely a facelift coming 2017...I was told by my LR dealer: orders being taken around September for early 2017 deliveries and will include updated tech as now available in the evoque convertible. I think I am going to wait it out...! |
