I am interested in putting a few essential parts in the boot. I was thinking the following:-

Belt that drives all the Accessories
Fuel Filter
Add Blue

Not a long list but can see that in Australia getting a belt for instance might ruin your trip as most likely not off the shelf. Water in the fuel or dirty fuel could block a fuel filter and stop you in your tracks. Add blue well although a warning still possible in this country to be miles away from the stuff.

Can anyone think of other items besides a whole car? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

I ordered mine with a full size spare wheel but other than that I just carry some spare fuses ... only because they are not the standard mini or micro size and hardly available anywhere.

I do keep some other important stuff like IIDTool, fire extinguisher etc. in the car but that's not what you asked. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

There are a few spares in the boot fuse box (at least in UK spec cars) but not enough to cover every type. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I didn't realise that they weren't standard car fuses of one size or another, haven't actually looked as haven't needed to, but if correct I suppose I'd better get some rather than carrying the box of fuses I had for previous car.

May I ask what is special about the fuses used on a RRS?  John

RRS MY12 SDV6 HSE. Sumatra Black/Ebony & Walnut + Dynamic Pack, + Cold Climate Pack + Memory Pack, Digital TV/DVD, Premium Leather, Cornering Lights, Cooler/Fridge Box, & most Options.

John your signature suggest you drive an L320 RRS1. You're OK because RRS1 has the standard Mini blade fuses. It's the L494 RRS2 that uses the new style Micro2 fuses. When I checked late last year, those weren't available anywhere in the shops, only available online from a couple of suppliers at a ridiculous price and that too only in 5Amp. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
