2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

1) Ask them why they have "tarted" it up by adding the Autobiography kit. If you read the section on modifications it isn't a cheap exercise to add the Autobiography kit and it actually devalues the car as it will be harder for you to sell it on as it is now "modified"
2) Check out the price for a TDv8 HSE same miles and year and don't pay 1p more just because it has been tarted up. It also has the Red edition side intakes............... I'm always very suspicious of dealers that feel that they have to make a car into something it isn't just to sell it. If they spent half as much servicing it properly as they did tarting it up they would sell it much easier.
3) Before parting with any money insist that it is taken to a franchised Land Rover dealer to be checked out, all software updates made and a full LR service, you have had one nasty experience already........... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Can't really work out what the Autobiography Styling is, certainly hasn't got A/B Bumpers, Exhaust Trims or Wheels, HSE rear spoiler. Grill might be.

Cheers

Don't think that is a LR dealership, purchasing a car from places other than a genuine Land Rover dealer is just asking for problems I believe. They will have full service history, and come with a proper warranty.
Those wheels are identical to mine, and I have only the HSE version not Autobiograhy so you are being ripped off to start off with.
It will be a bit more expensive from a dealer but the extras it comes with and quality etc are well worth it.
If this is a LR dealership, they should be reported as they are selling it as a model it isn't, just a tart in poor clothing. Censored John

My observations - lower rear bumper - lower door trims & lower front bumper have all been painted - these do not leave the factory in that condition on that model Sport Rolling Eyes the tailgate has had the 12MY rear tailgate mod - again this is only available via aftermarket supply & not LR OEM.
All the above may have been done professionally & with lots of love & care but it does not look right to the experts eye - or us anoraks Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Good luck Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
17MY Autobiography Dynamic - Corris Grey - WOW.

Shouldn't a 2012 come with a single-piece tailgate WITHOUT the big button on the right side? this surely looks like an upgraded two-piece tailgate.

EDIT: OK, I fell for this - it's a 2009 (small print) with "2012 Styling" advertised all over... Regards etc.,

Wojtek

Agree but this was the bit I saw plus the photos of course. Most misleading headline at side of main photo etc
as you still think it's a 2012 model, only when you study full text do you notice the 2009 bit. Embarassed
Looking through their LR range nearly everyone is modified as a 2012 model or Overfinch, many have the red side vent, most strange to see so many non standard looking vehicles, only 3 month warranty.

This one at least looks unmolested and a reasonable price (compared to the other "2012" versions at least).

Now the car has been rejected and given back but the dealer has sold the car i traded in even though the deal was i got it back if i rejected the range rover so i am carless and the dealer is being a dick and trying to squirm out of paying me my money by coming out with all sorts of bull Censored . I have covered my back by taking video of car and showing no damage. I am having to hire a car until this is sorted so would any body know if i can take him to court to claim costs of hire car back as none of this is my doing and i am the one out of pocket.

.

You need professional legal advice, not internet forum suggestions. Best of luck! Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Most of us and hopefully you have ticked the Legal Help box on your insurance form, they will take this up, as I know someone that used the Legal cover just for that. All the best. John
