2015 MY Rear wiper

Just driven home from Edinburgh in torrents of rain, front wiper on fast speed but the rear wiper refused to work on any setting, even when the water jet was activated. Get home switch off, switch on and hey presto rear wiper is working fine in all modes Twisted Evil Anyone else suffered this temporary withdrawal of wiper service during a trip that has mysteriously fixed itself when they engine is restarted? I've never had it happen before on any Rangie, big or small. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Yes on my 16 and 16.5MY. Nothing fixes it except engine off engine on. Dealer can't replicate allegedly.

Yes, I have noticed this on ours. It's fine if you don't interrupt it during a sweep but if you do, it won't work even with a wash or what ever setting you put it on. An engine on off is the only way.

I usually 'break' it buy doing a double skoosh on the jet the old L322 needed that to get some water on the rear screen but in the L494 it breaks it. Big Cry

Mine did it once in the first week, never again. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Yes, had exactly the same three times. Dealer could not find the fault and it has not done it again for several months. D4 2012 Santorini Black gone
