Also does the 4.2 ltr need its fuel filter replacing every 2 years?

Hi bud thanks for reply, I'm not doing the work myself, mate who owns a garage is, but I said I would buy the serving parts to do it (150k service), even thought I do work on my road cars, im just not fully familiar with the RR and dont have access to a ramp etc etc

Are the metal sump replacement kits worth a look in? Anyone with experience?

The metal sumps make it an easier job to replace. No need to undo mounts or exhaust.

Its actually only on 80k miles, but its 10 years old (2006) so is due its 10 year or 150k mile service.

If it's only done 80k I would leave it alone and just change the fluid.

Get the gearbox megaflushed at that mileage. Geoff on Disco3 is your man!

2 litres of castrol can be used for the front and rear diffs. How many litres on the shelf ? |

Transfer case oil is different to the diff oil.

Remember that the active rear diff uses different oil to the front diff/standard rear diff. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
