MY 12 - no way to "store music"

Very pleased with my RRS MY12, except..... Sat nav is totally cr*p and can't "store/download" cd's into the system - my old '63 freelander (hated it) did have facility to download CD's - can live with the sat nav (thank you Garmin) but why no facility to load CD's onto a hard disc?? (Or am I doing something wrong Embarassed )

You should be able to load your CDs onto your HD, I haven't got access to my handbook at present, but the way to do it was fully described in there. If no one assists before I get home, I will put up details on my return. There is screen prompts to from memory.

Agree the Sat Nav is the worst I have ever come across anywhere, even after updating POIs and adding/uploading traffic speed cams to database. I've resorted to Tom Tom at present time, this is such a disappointment with LR RRS cars hardly what you expect on a car of this price and caliber, how could LR fit such crap?

My 11 year old Rover 75 Tourer has a more upmarket model with far more provisions on it, including verbal alerts for static/traffic light and mobile speed cameras. (BMW MK4 DVD system). John

Hi,

Yes you can store CDs but only 10 and they take a while to download. Not a great system but if there are CDs that you listen to frequently, it may be worth doing as the sound quality is a little better in my opinion than playing the same music via Bluetooth.

Cheers, the old freelander screen had a "upload" button which the RRS doesn't (seem) to have ... Or am I missing something (again)
