It's a dealer or dealer group thing rather than imposed by Land Rover. Some LR dealers charge this but others don't. I know Lookers Park Royal also require an "admin" or "insurance" charge for a loan car. While I don't remember the exact figure (as I didn't take it), I am sure I was quoted less than £30 per day.

£35 does seem a bit steep- I used to pay a tenner when I had courtesy cars from Audi, just to cover the massive standard excess that was on their supplied insurance. |

I had my RRS serviced last week and the courtesy car (65 Plate Evoque - Manual, with 485 miles on the clock) was free.

I got a nice E class cabriolet for 2 sets of 2 days for free from a small indie near me, they even dropped it off and swapped the cars back for me on the drive when they finished. Surely if you pay it's not a 'courtesy' car at all! I'd have said the same as you. |

Always get a loan car from Hatfields in Pickering, no charges other than it comes back with the same amount of fuel as it goes out with, and of course no dents or scrapes. Generally get a newer RRS MY14+ than my older mk.1 2012, so cannot complain at all. John
