A Day In The Country (Planning)

Right then Guys

Event:

A Day In The Country

Date:

November 14th


Days Activities:

09:00am Guests arrive and are welcomed with tea, coffee and hot bacon rolls.

10:15am Guests are briefed on the day’s activities by a Director of A Day in the Country. Guests are split into groups to take part in four activities during the day. Groups will spend approximately 1 hour at each activity and then move onto the next. Guests will take part in two activities in the morning and two in the afternoon. The activities will include:

Archery using life-size and moving targets set up in our beautiful woods next to the lakes.
Rage Buggies – the latest type of grass go-carts. Much faster and more exciting then our traditional Honda Pilots. These buggies were developed from the racing models for the corporate market and have just been featured on Top Gear!
4 x 4 Land Rover Driving on our specially designed Jungle Track in the woods.
Clay Pigeon Shooting at different stands. Light-weight guns are provided for those that prefer to use them. Our excellent instructors will make everyone a crack shot!

1:00pm Guests return to the barn for a buffet lunch consisting of:

Sweet and Hot Cumberland Sausages
Thai King Prawns with Sweet Chilli Dip
Salmon Bouchees
Roasted Vegetables in Filo Pastry
Mushroom and Gruyere Tarts
Chicken Satays with Peanut Sauce
Chocolate Profiteroles
Fruit Juices and Mineral Waters

1:45pm Guests return to the activities they did not complete in the morning.

3:30pm Guests return to the barn for tea with home-made cakes followed by prize giving for the best at each activity and then departure.

4:00pm Departure.

Price:

The cost will be £199.50 + vat per person based on 20 people attending
or
£299.50 + vat PP for 10 people

Yep, I didn't go last year but went the year before. Good fun and a better theatre show than we saw at the Motorshow. MPH site says it's 2-5 Nov though, so not sure I could do both.... don't know if it was just me, but site didn't seem to work properly for me. Maybe it's not really populated yet as only August..... anyway, if there's more of the usual suspects going I might be convinced.
