Hello, i have many problems with the CD player many time it says "Invalid disk" and i would to upgrade the radio system with a new one with bkluethoot and all the new features offered from the new systems, but semmes it is not possible since the radio is fiber optic connected with the overall system

terribile i realized i have the logic 7, since i have the amp under the passenger set.
i read some post, is there any way to upgrade without loosing
the nav sat screen ?

Yeah, take your original radio apart till you are just left with the control box, buy some optic fibre and joints, hide the remaining part of the old head unit in the dash and hard wire some iso plugs in to the old harness, you might need a switched live from the fag lighter, you will also need to run your new speaker cables to the amp under the drivers seat and do a bit of wiring in to the speaker wires down there...
Its a bit of a ball ache but well worth doing.
I went for a JVC touch screen DVD unit with blue tooth as its the one I have in my van and I know where all the buttons are.
Its got outputs for headrest screens and input for reverse camera.
The original speakers are also plop I fitted Focal's in the front and JL in the back, I also sound deadened the doors while they were apart.
I also fitted a sub and hid the amp inside the N/S wall of the boot as its huge in there.

unfortunately i am not able, i understand i need to disassemble the factory unit, to obtain the control box.
then i need to buy the 2 Bits.
there are some things i do not understand
1) will the sibwoofer work?
2) can the amp be removed
3) can i see the scheem of the connections
4) what other parts do i need ?
5) can i let the control box in the center consolle
6) which facia pannel do i need?
