Well I've decided to get myself a new RRS,,after a lot of mind changing I was going to get a new Evoque but I cannot see myself coming out of the sport into something smaller & it would be like going backwards.ive been to Hatfields in Pickering to pick the wife's 64plate Evoque up today & while I was their I thought I would get a price on my 2012 HSE red edition in Fuji with 33k on clock & in immaculate cond & the insulted me with a offer of 29k even though they have same car but less spec up on their site for 36k.so I'm going to advertise mine probably on piston heads for 35 as its still got 14 months approved warranty left with LR assist & next 2 services FOC.

Is a discovery sport a similar size to the old RRS?

They always take the Michael with p/ex prices. I sold mine private (12plate) but all you normally get is dealers/traders ringing, private buyers all seem to want warranty and finance at that money. I did sell it in the end but had to take less than I thought it was worth, having said that, a good 3-4k more than the trade in I was offered!

Im going to try it private Mat as it still has LR approved warranty & roadside assist till July 17.
I would love a SVR but I'm going to get the Stealth pack in Fuji.The worst thing was they have a 2012 SE on their forecourt for 35k & the salesman said mine looks much better as it has the skirts etc colour coded.

Andy, have you contacted any of the forum sponsors? I've always had great deals from both Lookers Park Royal and Grange Garage Barnet, way better than any of the dealers in Scotland were offering, even part-ex values for clean low miles cars are considerably higher in London than they are in Scotland. I've bought my last 5 cars from London dealerships rather than locally in Scotland purely because there was no competition between dealers up north, all quoted bog basic guide book trade in value and no discount on the car I wanted to order. Mentioned this before on another thread. JLR dealers are robbing so-and-so's on px and funnily enough Hatfields were one of them even though I didn't name them at the time. They offered me £2k less than CAP valuation and £1k less than WBAC on a '56 XK against an XF. So I looked around, changed my mind and bought a RRS instead (obviously not from them). Never looked back and at least I have something to thank them for.

I originally was going to buy an Autobiography with Stealth in Fuji. By the time I specced it up it was in spitting distance of an SVR
