Jock, I'm looking out of the back garden at the NE side of Ben Lomond that still has snow plenty of snow on it, in fact we were up there yesterday driving the private Comer Road over the Ptarmigan Ridge, had lunch at 1300ft up in 22c, blue skies and dazzling snow on the mountain! Was told years ago, never plant tender bedding plants out in the garden if you can see any sign of snow patches on Ben Lomond or The Aberfoyle Alps/ Ben A'an as you can still get a frost at night even in June if there is snow still up there! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I can see the attraction of driving a open top car in country reads but when I see people driving in towns and in heavy traffic with all the engine noise and fumes and the smells I just wonder why? |

Our hard top convertible MX5 is superb in the countryside but not as good as a Series One LR with the roof off, door tops off and windscreen folded down on the bonnet Visitor from fullfatrr.com

I think that wee Brits enjoy getting the roof down on our cars even on any day that looks remotely like it's not going to p155 down rain, having said that I've been caught a few times in April showers ( not golden) whilst driving and found that depending on speed ,the rain doesn't come into the cab...

I've dabbled with going topless over the years but never went for leather due to the torture of skin on it after sun - always picked cloth
