This is an awesome guide. I used it tonight and did it all in less than an hour. I still find it hard to believe that it isn't standard on a car like this!! |

Did mine this weekend, I was keptical the LED bulbs I have used throughout my rover would some how make this more difficult because the bulbs require a certain polarity to function and the clip turning reverse the polarity I feared the switch might not function, but all went well. Thanks for the write up and pics. I ran my wires rearward only having to pull the weatherstripping around the rear hatch to tuck my wiring from the opposite side of the trunk light. Great additional lighting, but with this being my second Rover I find it sad, the like my last Rover, I find it frustrating to have to "finish" building my own Rover. This should have been done at the factory... |

I have never understood why LR couldn't be bothered to make the rear lights come on as standard. For the price of the car, a very bad money saving annoyance. I can't see any benefit in them not being auto working, changing to LEDs is another must on the puddle lamps etc. John

Just did mine today. The maps light were next to impossible to remove the Lucas the Prince of Darkness made sure the wires had next to no movement! 2018 Telsa MS
