Advice please. I am having problems with the 3-Button Remote Key on my 07 Sport. It sometimes takes repeated pressing of the button before the car unlocks. I have been quoted £275 for a replacement from a main dealer. There are some repair companies on ebay quoting between £50 - £70. Can anyone recommend a repair or should I 'bite the bullet' and pay for a new key.

I take it you have no spare ? I purchased a new key from Dan @ Duckworths ( site sponsor & VIN number needed ) then paid about £40 for a local locksmith to programme it to my Sport - about £140 in total - not cheap but not the rate you've been quoted  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

eBay sells blank case. Just be careful, use a exacto knife, and cut the halves. It may took some time, but it can be done. I reuse the old case, when I change out the battery.
