could be the lower steering ball joint, mine went really heavy, and it is a known fault, the knuckle siezes up, its around £100 plus fitting for a new one 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |

The steering is speed sensitive so the error could be related to that. The steering control is part of the air suspension control module which is located on the A pillar behind the steering wheel. Would be worth checking that there are no loose connections to the module. It's easy enough to access.

Had a guy look at it & was some kind of software issue. had that and the steering wheel column switch fixed for £200. The difference is unreal!! |

Good result. It's nice when they're working properly! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
